The knob, side panels and legs are made from solid birch. The cushion is extra thick for added comfort and to make the buttons go deeper. This bench comes equipped with a solid brass "CYM" screw type heavy duty mechanism.

Note: There are many benches in the market that advertise the quality of the top to be leather. This bench is 100% leather. Most other benches are fake leather top but most websites classify them as so called "leather piano benches". So be careful when choosing leather piano benches. Always remember you get what you pay for. It just doesn't make sense to buy a bench for $150 and expect genuine leather.
